About the Role
We are looking for a Data Engineer Intern to join our Tax Compliance Reporting Solutions team at SEB. This internship offers a unique opportunity to work on real business projects and gain practical experience in developing financial crime prevention and tax reporting solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- βParticipating in agile team routines
- βBuilding and enhancing regulatory reporting solutions in tax and financial crime prevention areas using Python and SQL
- βAssisting in incident impact assessment and testing emergency changes
- βProposing and developing improvements based on stakeholder needs and feedback
- βEngaging in constant self-sufficient training
Requirements
- βCurrently a student in a higher educational institution pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, Finance, Business, or Economics
- βFamiliarity with SQL or other database querying language
- βBasic understanding of secure IT development and best practices for code writing
- βFluent English for collaboration with the Baltic team
- βExcellent communication skills and teamwork abilities
- βOutgoing and positive team player personality with a can-do attitude
- βAbility to manage time and prioritize tasks
