About the Role
We are looking for a Front-end Developer Intern to join our Internet Bank β Customer Journey IT team at SEB. This internship offers a unique opportunity to work on real business projects and gain practical experience in a leading banking sector employer.
Key Responsibilities
- βAssist in developing and enhancing features in the Internet Bank used by thousands of customers.
- βWrite clean, maintainable code and contribute mainly to front-end development using Angular.
- βSupport debugging and troubleshooting issues reported by customers or internal stakeholders.
- βParticipate in code reviews, learning best practices from experienced developers.
- βWork with modern development tools, frameworks, and cloud technologies.
- βParticipate in the full product development lifecycle, from planning and design to testing and releasing to production.
Requirements
- βAre a student at a higher educational institution in IT or a related field
- βHave good communication and teamwork skills
- βHave basic knowledge of web development fundamentals (HTML, CSS, TypeScript/JavaScript)
- βHave some experience with Angular or another modern front-end framework (e.g., React, Vue.js)
- βHave basic knowledge of back-end development concepts and frameworks such as Spring Boot
- βHave a general understanding of how front-end and back-end systems work together
- βAre interested in building user-friendly and responsive web applications
- βAre fluent in Latvian and English
- βAre a positive team player with a proactive, can-do attitude
- βAre able to manage your time and prioritize tasks effectively
