THE ROLE
Weβre looking for a Product manager for our European Trading squad to join us. You'll work closely with our Trading Senior product manager to build our European Trading functionality and shape how our European trading operations team functions.
This is a rare opportunity to be the first Product manager focused on European trading at Seccl.
You wonβt be joining an established team or roadmap, youβll be working with the Group product manager to define both from the ground up.
Working alongside a small, high-impact European team and key European clients, youβll play a central role in shaping how our European trading proposition evolves, from early launches through to scale.
This is an opportunity to:
- Shape the European trading strategy and roadmap for a fast-growing fintech that wants to disrupt an outdated industry.
- Support with go to market strategy for the European business and collaborating closely with our European clients
- Work closely with the product and engineering team supporting the UK business
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and operations teams to identify the right tooling to automate tasks and solve complex customer problems.
- Contribute to a high-performing, autonomous squad where your ideas will directly influence our success.
ON A TYPICAL DAY YOU WILL BEβ¦
- Working closely with the Group Product Manager and Operations Lead to define the European trading roadmap, balancing immediate client needs with longer-term platform strategy
- Collaborating as a pod with engineers, operations, and other stakeholders to solve scalability challenges for our European trading operations team.
- Breaking down complex problems into clear, actionable plans for engineering teams
- Prioritizing and managing the sprint backlog, balancing stakeholder needs while maximizing value for customers.
- Partnering closely with our European clients to understand their needs and translating them into product solutions, validate solutions, and ensure the product delivers real value.
- Collaborating with UK-based product and engineering teams to adapt and extend existing capabilities for European markets
- Making trade-offs across speed, risk, and customer value in a highly regulated environment
- Using both quantitative and qualitative data to inform evidence-based decisions.
YOUβLL BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE IF YOUβ¦
- Have previous experience with trading systems, custody platforms, APIs or have launched regulated products to European markets
- Have experiencer scaling products in regulated environments (e.g. fintech, banking, investments, insurance)
- Are comfortable operating in 0β1 or highly ambiguous environments where structure doesnβt yet exist
- Can bring clarity to complex, undefined problems and turn them into actionable plans
- Are highly proactive β you create momentum rather than wait for direction
- Are customer-obsessed, with a focus on improving workflows and outcomes
- Thrive in cross-functional environments and can navigate competing priorities
- Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences

INTERVIEW PROCESS
Interviewing is a two-way thing, and we want you to have the time and opportunity to get to know us, as much as we are getting to know you. Our interviews are conversational, so come with questions and be curious. In general, you can expect the interview process to look a bit like this:
1. First stage β 45 mins competencies-based interview with the GPM and SPM
2. Second stage β 60 min case study presentation to GPM and team member
3. Bar Raiser β 45 mins culture-based interview
