About the Role
Sedna is seeking a Platform Engineer to join their dynamic Platform Engineering team. This role focuses on ensuring the high availability, performance, and scalability of Sedna's SaaS solutions, working at the intersection of development and operations.
Key Responsibilities
- →Develop and maintain scalable, resilient cloud-based infrastructure using industry best practices
- →Implement automation tools and frameworks for automatic code deployment and system management
- →Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement strategies to ensure high availability
- →Collaborate with development and product teams to enhance the scalability and efficiency of the application architecture
- →Participate in on-call rotations, providing expert support for critical system incidents
- →Continuously evaluate and implement new technologies to enhance system reliability and operational efficiency
Requirements
- ✓6+ years experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or similar roles
- ✓Strong background in software engineering and system administration
- ✓Highly proficient with AWS (VPC, IAM, ELB/WAF, EC2, ECS, EKS, S3, Lambda, etc.)
- ✓Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, Ansible)
- ✓Skilled in scripting and automation (Python, Bash) and experience with CI/CD pipelines
- ✓A tenacious problem-solver with excellent communication skills
- ✓Passionate about learning new technologies and continuously improving systems
