About the Role
We are looking for a Sales Engineer to join our team at Semgrep, the leader in code security for builders. This role focuses on helping developers build more secure applications by integrating our platform into their software development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- →Become an expert on Semgrep and integrating our platform into the software development lifecycle.
- →Scope and own each customer engagement with clear objectives and success criteria.
- →Articulate how our platform is uniquely differentiated to power customers' security programs.
- →Act as a thought leader in the wider community, educating and sharing best practices.
- →Minimize customer friction in adopting and deploying Semgrep through automation and content creation.
- →Share customer feedback to influence the roadmap of new features and services.
- →Contribute to building a world-class solutions engineering organization.
Requirements
- ✓Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills in English.
- ✓An interest in helping people solve challenging technical problems.
- ✓8+ years of experience working with customers in pre-sales, customer success, or customer/product support.
- ✓Experience communicating with executives and operating full sales cycles in large organizations.
- ✓A deep understanding of developer workflows and build systems, including CI/CD environments.
- ✓Exposure to application security, vulnerability management, and static analysis programs.
- ✓A bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
