About the Role
We are seeking a talented and motivated Talent Acquisition Lead who is best in class with a high IQ plus a high EQ. Based in Turkey, you will lead a team of 3β4 recruiters and own the end-to-end talent acquisition strategy for the region. This role presents an exciting opportunity to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment within a rapidly growing fintech team, with abundant prospects for career advancement. You will be a strategic partner to hiring managers across the business while rolling up your sleeves to recruit for senior and highly technical positions yourself.
What You'll Do
β’ Build the Turkey recruiting function from the ground up, including hiring a team of 3β4 recruiters; define the team structure, roles, and success criteria in partnership with People leadership.
β’ Lead, coach, and develop the recruiting team once in place, setting clear goals, providing ongoing feedback, and fostering a high-performance culture.
β’ Own the full-cycle recruiting process for technical and non-technical roles, from intake and sourcing through offer and close.
β’ Design and continuously improve talent acquisition processes, frameworks, and tooling to drive efficiency, quality of hire, and candidate experience.
β’ Partner closely with hiring managers and business leaders to understand workforce needs and build proactive talent pipelines.
β’ Define and track recruiting metrics (time-to-fill, quality of hire, source effectiveness, etc.) and present regular reporting to People leadership.
β’ Ensure a consistently excellent, human-centered candidate experience throughout the hiring journey.
β’ Stay current on market trends, compensation benchmarks, and talent availability in Turkey's technology and fintech sectors.
What We Look For
β’ Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
β’ 5+ years of experience leading talent acquisition processes and teams, ideally within a fast-paced tech or fintech environment.
β’ Proven track record recruiting for highly technical roles in IT (software engineers, data, infrastructure, product, etc.).
β’ Demonstrated ability to manage and develop a recruiting team, including setting priorities, building accountability structures, and mentoring junior recruiters.
β’ Strong command of modern sourcing techniques, ATS platforms, and recruiting analytics.
β’ Advanced English proficiency (written and verbal) with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
β’ Fluency in Turkish; familiarity with Turkish labor law and local hiring practices.
Preferred Qualifications
β’ Experience working for a US-headquartered or globally distributed company.
β’ Exposure to high-growth or startup environments where adaptability and speed are essential.
β’ Familiarity with employer branding strategies and recruitment marketing.
β’ Experience using data and dashboards to influence hiring decisions and resource planning.
