About the Role
Shield AI is seeking a Business Development Manager to join their high-performing team focused on securing technical advantages in pursuits, increasing revenue, and positioning the company as a leader in AI for autonomy within commercial, national security, and defense applications. This role involves working with mission-critical AI products to make a positive impact.
Key Responsibilities
- →Plan detailed customer engagements highlighting benefits of autonomy and AI tools
- →Identify new opportunities to leverage technology for various mission sets
- →Collaborate with software development teams and product managers to deliver top-notch solutions
- →Become an expert in AI within commercial and defense sectors through research and customer engagements
- →Help launch Hivemind Enterprise SaaS and Hivemind Solutions autonomy products for B2B and B2G customers
- →Respond to client feedback
Requirements
- ✓Bachelor’s degree (preferably engineering) with minimum 14 years of relevant experience in Defence & Aerospace industry or armed forces
- ✓Ideally a veteran, with IAF flight test crew (Test Pilot or Flight Test Engineer) strongly preferred
- ✓Familiarity with acquisition policies (knowledge of DAP and DPM)
- ✓Willingness and ability to travel as required
- ✓Creativity and strategic thinking in developing innovative sales approaches and building customer relationships
- ✓Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- ✓Strong organizational abilities with high attention to detail
- ✓Proven negotiation, relationship management, and problem-solving skills
- ✓Ability to perform effectively in fast-paced, high-pressure environment managing multiple priorities
