About the Role
We are looking for a Principal Analytics Engineer to lead the design and evolution of enterprise-grade data platforms and analytics solutions. This senior technical leadership role involves setting architectural direction for scalable, resilient data systems and partnering with clients and teams to implement modern data architectures.
Key Responsibilities
- →Own the technical vision and architecture for analytics and data platforms
- →Lead design and implementation of end-to-end data architectures including data lakes and warehouses
- →Define and evolve data modeling standards and architectural best practices
- →Navigate ambiguity by decomposing complex business and technical problems
- →Formulate and present multiple architectural approaches to guide optimal solutions
- →Architect and build production-grade data pipelines for analytics and machine learning
- →Partner directly with clients as a trusted technical advisor
- →Lead and mentor cross-functional teams including Analytics Engineers and Data Engineers
- →Contribute to data governance, quality, observability, and platform reliability initiatives
- →Drive development of internal data products, reusable frameworks, and AI-powered solutions
- →Contribute to technical strategy and roadmap planning across engagements
Requirements
- ✓5+ years of extensive SQL and Python experience
- ✓5+ years of data engineering or data architecture experience
- ✓Proven experience designing and implementing data lakes and modern analytics architectures
- ✓Demonstrated experience working on AI, ML, or advanced analytics initiatives
- ✓Strong foundation in data modeling, distributed systems, and performance optimization
- ✓Experience with major cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) in production environments
- ✓Proven ability to operate independently with full ownership
- ✓Track record of navigating ambiguity in complex, client-facing environments
- ✓Experience leading, mentoring, and influencing senior engineers and cross-functional teams
- ✓Prior experience in data, analytics, or ML-focused organizations or large-scale enterprise projects
