About the Role
We are looking for an Engineering Manager to join Siteimprove.ai, a unified platform that brings together accessibility, analytics, SEO/AEO, and content strategy. As the Engineering Manager for the Search Insights team, you will lead a distributed engineering team responsible for SEO and AEO capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- →Provide hands-on technical leadership and architectural oversight for the Search Insights team
- →Own the team's end-to-end delivery, ensuring timely execution of the development lifecycle
- →Lead, mentor, and develop a team of ~7 engineers
- →Partner closely with Product Management to own the product roadmap and delivery outcomes
- →Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative search features
- →Modernize existing Siteimprove codebases and integrate acquired technology platforms
- →Leverage data insights to prioritize features and enhancements
Requirements
- ✓Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field
- ✓8+ years of software engineering experience with 5+ years managing engineering teams
- ✓Proven experience with microservices and service-oriented architectures
- ✓Demonstrated ability to provide technical leadership and architectural oversight
- ✓Experience hiring, developing, and managing engineering performance across distributed teams
- ✓Track record of partnering with Product Management to own roadmaps and deliver customer outcomes
- ✓Strong analytical skills, using data to guide technical and business decisions
- ✓Excellent communication and leadership abilities across cross-functional teams and time zones
