π OVERVIEW
The Sales Engineer acts as a centralised global authority for enterprise RFPs and formal buying processes, ensuring consistency, quality, and efficiency across regions. They will initially serve as the single point of control for reviewing and approving responses, maintaining high standards while minimising resource investment.
In this role, they also function as a knowledge hub, capturing lessons learned and successful patterns from global deals and distributing them to new or growing regions. Additionally, they act as the primary liaison between sales and product strategy, channeling enterprise-level requirements and feedback from RFPs into product direction.
The Sales Engineer further oversees AI-driven and automated collateral generation, being responsible for both creating and validating materials to ensure accuracy, alignment, and quality before use.
Overall, the role combines governance, enablement, and strategic alignment to streamline enterprise and other high-value sales efforts at a global scale.

- OTE Remuneration: AU$180,000 (incl. Super)
- Base Salary: AU$90,000 (incl. Super)

π§ DAY-TO-DAY
- Solely responsible for RFP processes - single point of control on quality and execution of formal buying process
- Responsible for the distribution of global lessons learned and patterns to new regions
- Be the single point of contact with product strategy, on enterprise items coming in via RFPs
- All AI and collateral automation should be ingested and reviewed by this person - generating and vetting collateral
β‘ CHALLENGES
- Multi-region remit - the role will require availability across European, American and Oceanic timezones
- Balancing and consistently delivering on all responsibilities of the role regardless of peak busy periods often during procurement processes
- Internal stakeholder management - managing expectations of GTM and Product personnel
