About the Role
We are looking for a Business Development Manager to drive new business growth across the DACH region. You will engage and advise customers across various hotel segments, from small independent properties to large hotel groups and travel tech partners. This role involves strategic pipeline growth, long-term partnerships, and commercial excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- →Lead full-cycle sales and business development, identifying, engaging, and converting new prospects into customers.
- →Define and execute strategic qualification routines to build segmented pipelines and prioritize high-value opportunities.
- →Achieve sales KPIs and targets, maintaining accountability for daily, weekly, and monthly goals.
- →Conduct insightful discovery and product presentations, consulting on clients’ business and commercial goals.
- →Maintain disciplined CRM practices to ensure accurate pipeline, forecasts, reporting, and customer insights.
- →Collaborate with Onboarding, Marketing, Product, and Customer Success teams to refine market messaging and go-to-market strategies.
- →Represent SiteMinder at industry events and webinars, raising brand awareness through occasional travel.
Requirements
- ✓Extensive experience closing deals with full-cycle responsibility, ideally in SaaS, hospitality technology, or related commercial services.
- ✓Solid understanding of the hospitality value chain, including hotel management, revenue strategy, and guest acquisition.
- ✓Demonstrated consultative and outcome-focused sales skills, with the ability to diagnose business needs and influence decision-making.
- ✓Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work autonomously.
- ✓High level of self-motivation, curiosity, and openness to feedback and coaching.
- ✓Strong proficiency with CRM and sales tools.
- ✓Fluent in German (min. C2) and professional proficiency in English.
