About the Senior Software Engineer (Full Stack) role...
We are looking for a senior-level Full Stack developer to join our team. In this role, you will use your full-stack development experience to build and enhance our products. Our projects vary between natively developing in our new cloud-based microservices architecture, expanding our micro-frontend (Vue3) and improving internal tooling such as data migration.
What youβll doβ¦
- Refine, design, and deliver product requirements.
- Work with a cross-functional team in an agile methodology
- Participate in the roadmap, release, and sprint planning
- Write clean, well-organised and testable codeΒ
- Make appropriate trade-offs between performance, robustness, and extensibility and be able to articulate why you made those choices
What you haveβ¦
- Strong experience in backend development, with proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript with Kotlin/Java is a plus.
- Knowledge of frontend frameworks such as Vue.js or React.js
- Knowledge of RESTful APIs and frameworks such as GraphQL and Express
- Solid understanding of microservices and event-driven architectures
- Hands-on experience with AWS services, including one or more of: EC2, Kinesis, SQS, Lambda and S3
- Competence with database technologies, such as relational databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL) and/or NoSQL databases (DynamoDB/Cassandra/MongoDB)
- Familiarity with code testability, build pipelines and deployments, Docker and CI/CD systems
- Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with product, technology, and delivery teams to deliver high-quality software solutions
- Ability to add value to the team by mentoring, suggesting improvements or identifying optimisation opportunities
- Keep up with best practices, latest technologies and frameworks as needed
