About the Role
We are looking for a Backend Engineer (PHP) to join our team at TENTENS Tech, a partner IT company of SKELAR, a Ukrainian venture builder that builds international tech businesses. We develop social discovery platforms for over 20 million users worldwide, maintaining our pace and scale through deep expertise in analytics, highload, and performance marketing.
Key Responsibilities
- βWork in a high-pace development team, launching many A/B tests
- βCreate subtasks for User Stories in collaboration with Product Managers and Frontend engineers
- βImplement technical improvements to optimize routine work, including using artificial intelligence
- βBe responsible for the user balance functionality, a key component of the product
- βEnsure code coverage with auto-tests and metrics where appropriate
Requirements
- βUnderstanding of development principles (Clean Code, SOLID, DDD, Clean Architecture)
- βConfident knowledge of PHP (framework-agnostic)
- βUnderstanding of database indexes and experience in their creation (MySQL/Postgres)
- βExperience working with queues in Event Driven architecture (RabbitMQ/Kafka)
- βExperience in writing auto-tests: unit and integration
