Localization Manager - Howly at Skelar

About the Role

We are looking for a Localization Manager to join our team at Howly, a multi-product company within the venture builder SKELAR. This role focuses on managing and scaling the localization process for our products, which are designed for users on the global professional services market.

Key Responsibilities

• →Fully manage the localization lifecycle of Howly products: from launching and preparing localization for new languages to maintaining the relevance of translations in products.
• →Work with the Crowdin platform: order translations, interact with support teams, respond to translator requests, and understand platform settings, functionality, and capabilities.
• →Interact with engineering teams: align and optimize localization processes, ensure transparent communication, support teams with questions about platform usage, translation orders, and readiness status.
• →Manage the process of professional proofreading and review of translations: find and engage external contractors, coordinate their work, and control the implementation of results in products.
• →Ensure timely ordering of translations both through Crowdin and directly with external contractors.
• →Conduct research on localized versions of competitors' products and propose ideas for improving the quality and efficiency of localization.
• →Control compliance with Tone of Voice, glossaries, and local linguistic and cultural peculiarities in translations.
• →Maintain and update documentation regarding localization processes.
