<p><strong><span data-contrast="auto">Penobscot General Contractors</span></strong><span data-contrast="auto"><strong> </strong>is seeking a </span><span data-contrast="auto"><strong>Project Manager</strong></span><span data-contrast="auto"> to join our team, based out of either our Falmouth or Bangor office. This role is responsible for leading projects from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring successful delivery aligned with project goals, budget, schedule, and a strong commitment to safety.</span><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></p>

Qualifications:
β’ Minimum of 5 years of commercial construction experience
β’ Proven ability to manage projects from start-up through completion
β’ Strong written and verbal communication skills
β’ Working knowledge of job costing and scheduling software (Procore experience preferred)
β’ Field experience is a plus
Key Responsibilities:
β’
Lead project start-up, buyout, and contract administration
β’
Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets
β’
Manage subcontracts and purchase orders, including negotiation and execution
β’
Oversee job costing, requisitions, and invoicing
β’
Coordinate closely with Superintendents to support field operations and maintain project momentum
β’
Promote a strong safety culture by supporting site-specific safety plans, reinforcing expectations, and collaborating with field teams to ensure safe work practices
β’
Manage change orders and ensure timely resolution of project issues
β’
Maintain consistent communication with owners, design teams, and internal stakeholders
β’
Ensure materials, equipment, and staffing are aligned with project needs
β’
Monitor progress to keep projects on schedule and within budget
β’
Maintain an active presence in the field, working from the jobsite office as needed to support project execution
