About the Role
We are looking for a motivated Business Development Representative to join our sales development team at Skimmer. As a BDR, you'll be the first point of contact for potential customers, responsible for generating qualified opportunities for our Account Executive team. This is an excellent position for someone looking to build a career in B2B SaaS sales within a growing company.
Key Responsibilities
- →Execute high-volume outbound prospecting campaigns via phone, email, SMS and other channels
- →Generate qualified prospects who book and attend a discovery/demo meeting with an Account Executive
- →Utilize sales tools including our CRM, sales engagement platforms, and prospecting databases
- →Work closely with the Account Executives to understand how you can best support them and to learn from them to further your sales career
Requirements
- ✓Some professional experience in sales, business development, or customer-facing roles
- ✓Strong verbal and written communication skills with professional phone presence and demonstrated listening skills
- ✓Comfort with high-volume cold calling and email outreach (100+ calls per day minimum)
- ✓Experience with CRM systems and sales tools (HubSpot is a huge plus)
- ✓Self-motivated with strong work ethic and ability to work independently in a remote environment
- ✓Urgent enthusiasm to learn and excel in your career
