About the Role
We are seeking a Commercial Solutions Engineer to join Skydio, the world leader in autonomous flight technology for drones. In this role, you will be a key technical partner throughout the sales process, working with Account Executives to design solutions for complex customer problems across various industries.
Key Responsibilities
- →Design and implement solutions for customers in utilities, emergency response, physical security, and other industries
- →Guide customers through onboarding, implementation, and long-term program success
- →Collaborate with product teams to provide field feedback and influence product direction
- →Support sales processes and contribute to revenue goals
Requirements
- ✓Experience in unmanned aircraft operation, design, development, or regulatory environments
- ✓Experience in one or more of Skydio's core commercial segments (Utilities, AEC, Security, Oil and Gas)
- ✓Familiarity with integrations, REST-based APIs, or similar technologies
- ✓Networking experience or certifications (e.g., CCNA)
- ✓Experience with GIS, photogrammetry, or survey/mapping workflows
- ✓Ability to travel up to 70%
- ✓Ability to obtain required drone pilot certifications (FAA Part 107 or local equivalents)
- ✓Located West of Colorado
- ✓Ability to lift up to 75 lbs when needed
