About the Role
Smarsh is seeking a Software Engineer/Specialist to join our team. This role involves working on architecture, design, and development of cost-effective and sustainable solutions for the Digital Safe business.
Key Responsibilities
- →Translate business requirements into technical solutions
- →Research, test, and select technology for solution delivery
- →Maximize product performance, uptime, and supportability
- →Develop highly scalable services using Java, J2EE, Jetty, REST/SOAP, Postgres, and Spring
- →Design solutions to security problems and analyze vulnerabilities
- →Implement new interface components in collaboration with product owners
- →Maintain existing components and resolve customer-reported issues
- →Enhance components with new capabilities while maintaining compatibility
- →Provide feedback on test plans, cases, and methodologies
- →Research new technologies for product improvements
- →Collaborate with stakeholders and provide project progress updates
- →Provide guidance and mentoring to less-experienced team members
Requirements
- ✓6+ years in Java server-side application development
- ✓Experience in highly scalable SAAS products using Java, J2EE, REST/SOAP, Database, and Spring
- ✓Strong programming skills in Java and J2EE
- ✓Excellent communication skills
- ✓Understanding of IT infrastructure and DevOps
- ✓Familiarity with Agile Software Development, preferably Scrum
