About the Role
We are looking for a Full Stack Engineer to join our remote-first team at Smart Working. This role involves designing, building, and optimizing scalable web applications for a modern SaaS platform, working across both front-end and back-end systems.
Key Responsibilities
- →Design, develop, test, and deploy end-to-end full-stack web applications.
- →Build and integrate front-end and back-end components to deliver cohesive, user-focused functionality.
- →Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver growth-driven features.
- →Design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable APIs.
- →Optimize application performance, reliability, and scalability across environments.
- →Monitor system health and proactively improve code quality, efficiency, and maintainability.
- →Contribute to technical discussions, solution design, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- →Work effectively in an async, globally distributed team environment.
Requirements
- ✓4+ years of professional experience as a Full Stack Engineer in SaaS or technology-driven environments.
- ✓Strong hands-on experience with Node.js, Angular, and React.
- ✓Experience building and consuming APIs, with a solid understanding of backend systems.
- ✓Hands-on experience with MongoDB and cloud platforms (GCP experience preferred).
- ✓Proven ability to deliver end-to-end features from design through production.
- ✓Strong communication skills and confidence collaborating in remote, asynchronous teams.
- ✓Comfortable working independently while staying aligned with broader team goals.
