About the Role

We are looking for a Senior QA Engineer to join our remote-first team at Smart Working. This role focuses on ensuring quality assurance across platforms that rely on DRM systems, delivering reliable and secure TV and streaming experiences.

Key Responsibilities

→Own and execute QA activities across DRM-protected platforms and services
→Validate DRM implementations to ensure secure, compliant content delivery
→Design, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scenarios for complex systems
→Identify, log, track, and retest defects, working closely with engineers to ensure timely resolution
→Support regression, integration, and release testing across ongoing platform development
→Provide clear quality assessments and risk analysis ahead of releases
→Contribute to improving QA processes, documentation, and overall quality standards
→Work collaboratively within cross-functional teams while maintaining strong attention to detail

Requirements

✓5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, operating at a senior level
✓3+ years of hands-on experience testing DRM systems (core requirement)
✓Proven ability to test complex, integrated systems in a production environment
✓Strong understanding of QA methodologies, defect management, and release validation
✓Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with engineering teams
✓Comfortable joining an existing team and providing immediate impact in a fixed-term role
