About the Role

As a Senior Saas Product Designer, you'll take ownership of complex design problems across a data-rich, professional-grade B2B platform. You'll work on interfaces where the information is dense, the workflows are sophisticated, and the users are experts, translating that complexity into experiences that are clear, functional, and well-crafted.

This is a hands-on role where you'll work end-to-end, from problem framing and research through to detailed UI design, data visualisation, and Figma handoff in close collaboration with product and engineering. Success means bringing real clarity to hard design problems, raising the quality of the product, and helping the team move faster by making good decisions with confidence.

Responsibilities
β’ Own the end-to-end design process for complex product areas, from research and problem definition through to wireframes, prototypes, detailed UI design, and developer handoff.
β’ Design and iterate on data-heavy interfaces and multi-step workflows, making complex information and functionality accessible and intuitive for professional users.
β’ Create and maintain high-quality, well-structured Figma files including components, design system contributions, prototypes, and annotated specifications.
β’ Develop clear and effective data visualisation solutions that surface meaningful insight from rich, layered datasets without overwhelming the user.
β’ Collaborate closely with product managers and engineers throughout the design and development process, contributing to scoping, feasibility discussions, and implementation quality.
β’ Conduct and synthesise user research, usability testing, and stakeholder feedback to inform design decisions and validate solutions.
β’ Contribute to and help evolve the design system, ensuring consistency, scalability, and quality across the product.
β’ Advocate for the user experience in cross-functional discussions, bringing a clear point of view on design trade-offs and priorities.
β’ Engage with the domain deeply enough to design with context, understanding how users think, what they need, and what good looks like in a professional mapping, planning, or spatial data environment.
Requirements
β’ 5+ years of experience in product design, with at least 4 years spent designing B2B SaaS products in a professional, production environment.
β’ 3+ years of experience designing complex UX data-heavy interfaces, intricate workflows, multi-step processes, or tools used by expert or technical users.
β’ 3+ years of hands-on, daily Figma expertise including component creation, auto layout, prototyping, design system management, and structured file organisation.
β’ A strong portfolio demonstrating the ability to bring clarity and usability to genuinely complex product challenges, ideally in B2B or professional tools contexts.
β’ Deep understanding of UX principles, interaction design patterns, and information architecture particularly as applied to dense, functional interfaces.
β’ Comfortable working across the full design lifecycle, from ambiguous problem spaces through to pixel-precise delivery.
β’ 2+ years of experience designing data visualisation solutions charts, dashboards, spatial data representations, or other visual formats that communicate complex information clearly and accurately.
β’ Strong judgment on how to present data in ways that are meaningful, legible, and appropriate for the context and the user.
Nice to Have
β’ 1+ year of domain experience in GIS, mapping, 3D environments, proptech, urban planning, or related spatial or geospatial fields either through professional design work or personal interest.
β’ Familiarity with the workflows, mental models, and expectations of professional users in planning, architecture, real estate, or city development contexts.
β’ Experience designing for platforms that involve 3D visualisation, map-based interfaces, or geospatial data layers.
β’ Exposure to working within or alongside a design system at scale, contributing to shared component libraries and cross-product consistency.
