About the Role
We are looking for a CNC Machinist to join our team. This role involves setting up, programming, and operating numerically controlled machinery during night shifts.
Key Responsibilities
- →Set up, write programs, and edit existing programs for numerically controlled machinery
- →Operate machinery including lathes, mills, drills, and other equipment as required
- →Maintain quality and tolerances within .0003"
- →Follow written and verbal procedures for machining and other duties
- →Work from work order routings, prints, sketches, layout sheets, and instructions
- →Preset tools and may be required to re-sharpen
- →Inspect work produced using measuring instruments to verify conformance to specifications
- →Follow preventative maintenance procedures on equipment
- →Report operating difficulties of equipment to supervisor
- →Perform duties in accordance with company safety policies
- →Make proper labor and time reports
- →Keep machine(s) and work area clean and orderly
Requirements
- ✓Working knowledge of programming languages
- ✓Ability to learn and adapt per machine
- ✓Must be able to recognize and understand functions of machine parameters
- ✓Utilize knowledge of working properties for a variety of materials
- ✓Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- ✓Attention to detail and precision in measurements
- ✓Ability to work during night shifts on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday evenings
