About the Role
We are looking for a Service Project Manager to join Smiths security equipment team. This role involves managing complex, interdisciplinary projects across business and technology departments.
Key Responsibilities
- →Ensure workers adhere to safety standards
- →Collaborate with services, programs and customers to create project plans
- →Lead and motivate cross-functional teams in a matrix organization
- →Prioritize team efforts and find resourceful ways to meet deadlines
- →Understand revenue models, P/L and cost-to-completion projections
- →Create and manage project plans and schedules for internal and external customers
- →Identify and manage program risks proactively
- →Ensure team members understand their roles and responsibilities
- →Establish contingency plans and identify trigger events
- →Manage project schedules, budgets and deliverables
- →Handle deployment, relocation and decommissioning of security equipment
- →Communicate project status to team, management and stakeholders
- →Provide SOW comments and cost estimates for proposals
- →Provide ad-hoc reporting and analysis as needed
- →Identify revenue sources and consult with senior management
- →Utilize field resources for project work
- →Control costs while maximizing revenue
- →Comply with export control and security regulations
- →Maintain government clearance
- →Comply with legal requirements and company policies
Requirements
