About the Role
The Teamcenter Administrator plays a critical role in maintaining and supporting the Teamcenter PLM system, ensuring its stability, performance, and effective utilization across engineering, manufacturing, and other departments.
Key Responsibilities
- →Perform system administration, including installation, configuration, and maintenance of Teamcenter PLM software
- →Conduct system upgrades, patches, and hotfixes
- →Monitor system performance and resolve bottlenecks
- →Manage system backups and recovery procedures
- →Ensure system security and data integrity
- →Create and manage user accounts and access permissions
- →Provide user training and support on Teamcenter functionalities
- →Manage data migration and synchronization processes
- →Implement data cleansing and archiving strategies
- →Analyze business processes and recommend improvements to Teamcenter workflows
- →Customize Teamcenter to meet business requirements
- →Integrate Teamcenter with other enterprise applications
- →Create and maintain system documentation and training materials
- →Diagnose and resolve system errors and performance issues
- →Liaise with Siemens support or external consultants for advanced troubleshooting
- →Participate in PLM-related projects and initiatives
Requirements
- ✓Strong experience with Teamcenter PLM administration
- ✓Knowledge of system configuration, user administration, and data management
- ✓Experience with system upgrades, patches, and hotfixes
- ✓Ability to monitor system performance and resolve issues
- ✓Understanding of system security and data integrity
- ✓Experience with user training and support
- ✓Familiarity with data migration and synchronization processes
