About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Engineer to join our Forensics Group at our laboratory facility in Brooklyn, New York. This role involves conducting materials and mechanical testing, field monitoring, and non-destructive evaluations of structures.
Key Responsibilities
- →Coordinate, plan, and conduct standard and custom mechanical and material testing in the laboratory
- →Lead and complete field testing and monitoring, including installation of sensors and data acquisition systems
- →Prepare written reports of tests, including analysis of data and interpretation of results
- →Conduct field and site inspections
- →Manage projects and pursue new business opportunities
Requirements
- ✓More than 5 years’ experience in laboratory testing
- ✓Experience in conducting materials and mechanical testing
- ✓Ability to lead field testing and monitoring
- ✓Strong communication skills with technical and administrative staff, clients, and stakeholders
- ✓Experience in preparing technical reports
