About the Role
We are seeking a Data Scientist with strong experience in computer vision and deep learning to join our document verification team at Socure. This role involves working independently on production ML models and contributing to technical decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- →Develop, maintain, and improve machine learning models for document verification
- →Implement and evaluate deep learning architectures including CNNs and transformer-based models
- →Own components of end-to-end ML pipelines from data preparation to deployment
- →Perform error analysis, model diagnostics, and performance optimization
- →Contribute to technical design discussions and modeling best practices
- →Write production-quality code and contribute to shared ML tooling
- →Collaborate with engineering and product partners
Requirements
- ✓Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related field with 5+ years of professional experience
- ✓Strong proficiency in Python and experience with ML frameworks like PyTorch or TensorFlow
- ✓Solid experience with deep learning models, especially CNNs, in computer vision systems
- ✓Strong understanding of model evaluation, experimentation, and ML fundamentals
- ✓Experience with version control (Git), experiment tracking, and reproducible ML workflows
- ✓Ability to communicate technical ideas clearly and work in cross-functional teams
