About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our Lending Platform team at SoFi, a next-generation financial services company and national bank. You will help build and support cutting-edge technology systems, pushing the boundaries of lending and providing next-level products for members and investors.
Key Responsibilities
- →Use object-oriented programming languages to build performant and scalable applications in a cloud-based microservice architecture
- →Participate in shaping the technical architecture of the product
- →Own technical solutions for new product requirements
- →Deliver highly available and scalable services in a production environment
- →Generate ideas for new initiatives and technologies
- →Collaborate with business stakeholders, product management, operations, and peer technical teams
- →Mentor other team members and foster a learning environment
- →Work with our core stack: Java, Kotlin, Microservices, Spring Boot, Kafka, AWS, PostgreSQL and MongoDB
Requirements
- ✓Bachelor’s Degree in a technical field
- ✓5+ years programming experience, ideally on a modern, microservice stack
- ✓Strong sense of accountability and ownership
- ✓Willingness to collaborate with others and drive projects to completion
- ✓Experience working in a team coding environment, including code reviews and managing requests
- ✓Effective communication and technical leadership skills
- ✓Desire to grow, learn, and collaborate with a team of engineers
