About the Role
We are looking for a Staff Software Engineer to join our Builder Tools engineering organization. This role focuses on enabling SoFi engineers to solve problems elegantly through AI-powered SDLC and enhancing developer experience.
Key Responsibilities

Requirements
- ✓Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
- ✓8+ years of software development experience
- ✓Experience with cloud environments (AWS), containers (Docker, Kubernetes), cloud-native technologies, service meshes, CI/CD, and automated testing
- ✓Expertise in AI tools, infrastructure, and agent frameworks
- ✓Strong understanding of software design principles and distributed systems architecture
- ✓Strong problem-solving and programming fundamentals
- ✓Proven coding skills in Java, Kotlin, or Python for large-scale systems
- ✓Ability to own and deliver projects from scoping through launch
- ✓Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications
- ✓Experience with security, compliance, and risk management in cloud environments
- ✓Experience with monitoring and logging tools
- ✓Experience with container orchestration and networking
