About the Role
We are looking for a Staff Technical Program Manager to join our IT organization at SoFi. This role plays a critical part in enabling program-based delivery across the company, ensuring complex, cross-team initiatives move predictably from approval through design, build, and operation.
Key Responsibilities
- →Drive work from approval through design, build, and operation
- →Ensure approved work is structured correctly in Jira and aligned to program goals
- →Create high-level work definitions and ensure project kickoff readiness
- →Ensure design documents exist and are ready for Architecture Review Board review
- →Identify, manage, and resolve cross-team dependencies and sequencing risks
- →Facilitate scrum-of-scrums-style coordination focused on dependency resolution
- →Partner with IT Managers for realistic capacity planning
- →Identify and escalate delivery risks and trade-offs early
- →Synthesize Jira signals into program-level health reporting
- →Ensure operate readiness including runbooks, monitoring, and support handoff
Requirements
- ✓Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- ✓8+ years of experience in Technical Program Management or related role
- ✓Proven experience managing complex, cross-team programs
- ✓Strong understanding of technical systems, integrations, and infrastructure
- ✓Experience with design governance and architecture review processes
- ✓Ability to operate in ambiguous environments and drive clarity
- ✓Experience using Jira for delivery and reporting
- ✓Strong written and verbal communication skills
