Engineering Manager at Sonar

About the Role

We are looking for an Engineering Manager to lead a new squad of 4-8 developers focused on making SonarQube the best tool for Code Quality and Security. This role involves providing guidance, mentorship, and leadership to help the team deliver high-quality products and services that help users write better software.

Key Responsibilities

• →Lead and manage a team of Engineers, providing guidance, support, and mentorship
• →Hold yourself and your team accountable to high engineering standards
• →Foster a culture of feedback, continuous improvement, and collaboration
• →Partner with product managers, designers, and team leads to develop a clear vision aligned with company strategy
• →Ensure the squad defines clear objectives aligned with team, department, and company goals
• →Be accountable for tracking sprint progress and ensuring processes align with company expectations
• →Ensure collaboration with squad stakeholders including Product Managers, developer squads, Marketing, and Management
• →Partner with the Hiring team to recruit talented Engineers and improve hiring processes
• →Be accountable for onboarding new team members in the squad
• →Lead by example, modeling company values including humility and servant leadership
