About the Role
We are looking for an Information Security Specialist to join our team at Sonar. This role focuses on building trust with our customers by ensuring our organization meets a high level of security. You will lead specific domains of our security risk management program and support security incidents as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- →Own and evolve the security intake process end-to-end, utilizing advanced AI prompting to categorize, prioritize, and route complex security requests
- →Partner with Engineering, Business, and Technology leaders to drive the mitigation of security findings
- →Develop and refine complex prompts and automated workflows using LLMs to streamline risk assessments
- →Manage and maintain security risk and control frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, SOC2)
- →Act as the primary project lead for assigned security initiatives
- →Manage and participate in a clear process to provide clear security answers to customers and internal users
- →Coach and mentor team members on complex problem-solving and security best practices
Requirements
- ✓Experience with AI prompt engineering and LLMs
- ✓Knowledge of security risk management and compliance frameworks
- ✓Strong understanding of NIST, ISO 27001, and SOC2 standards
- ✓Ability to lead security initiatives and drive process improvements
- ✓Excellent communication and customer interaction skills
- ✓Experience in coaching and mentoring team members
- ✓Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with high standards
