About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our IDE Experience squad. This role focuses on developing SonarQube for IDE extensions that help developers identify and remediate code quality and security issues in real-time. You will contribute to building the next generation of developer tools that ensure human and AI-generated code meets quality standards within popular IDEs.
Key Responsibilities
- →Join the IDE Experience squad and contribute to all supported IDE extensions
- →Lead specifications, write code and tests, and mentor other squad members
- →Become an expert on multiple extensibility SDKs using Java, Kotlin, Typescript, and C#
- →Keep up with latest tools and techniques for AI-assisted coding and AI-generated code assessment
- →Engage with Open-Source community, other team members, and integrate feedback
- →Foster continuous improvement within your squad through retrospectives and technical expertise
Requirements
- ✓8+ years of hands-on experience as a Software Developer with strong expertise in Java
- ✓Proven track record with an expert generalist profile and solid Computer Science fundamentals
- ✓Experience with and strong interest in AI-assisted coding
- ✓Fluency in agile methodologies, source code quality, and associated practices
- ✓Fluency in English, both written and spoken
