About the Role
We are looking for a Credit Risk Functional Analyst to join our team. This role involves analyzing credit risk, designing functional systems for risk management, and supporting regulatory committees.
Key Responsibilities
- →Lead workshops with Risk, Finance, and Data departments
- →Analyze business rules related to IFRS9 provisions, default, PD/LGD/EAD, segmentation, and RWA
- →Write detailed Functional Specifications Documents (SFD) for credit models and risk calculations
- →Model business processes using BPMN focused on Risk & Regulatory
- →Define data flows for accounting, engagement, and collateral
- →Scope data quality needs for IFRS9 and RWA calculations
- →Design functional chains for Risk calculations, ECL modules, and rule engines
- →Design test cases for ECL, staging, PD/LGD/EAD calculations, and RWA
- →Analyze calculation discrepancies between models, systems, and reporting
- →Perform advanced SQL controls including complex joins, aggregations, and data consistency verification
- →Prepare for Risk, IFRS9, and RWA committees
- →Analyze business impacts from regulatory changes
Requirements
- ✓Strong understanding of credit risk principles and regulatory frameworks
- ✓Experience with IFRS9, RWA, PD/LGD/EAD calculations
- ✓Proficiency in BPMN modeling
- ✓Advanced SQL skills for data analysis and verification
- ✓Knowledge of regulatory requirements like Basel IV and ECB expectations
- ✓Experience with functional specifications and system design
- ✓Ability to lead workshops and communicate with technical and business stakeholders
