About the Role
The Business Developer is responsible for commercial development of SBS Software in West and Central Africa, exclusively on new business activities. They identify, qualify, and convert new prospects into concrete commercial opportunities, coordinating with pre-sales, product, marketing, and delivery teams.
Key Responsibilities
- →Develop and execute a prospecting strategy to generate new commercial opportunities in the region.
- →Identify and qualify high-potential prospects (banks, financial institutions, fintechs).
- →Manage the complete sales cycle, from needs detection to contract signing.
- →Work closely with pre-sales teams to design customized value propositions.
- →Coordinate responses to tenders and formal consultations.
- →Build and maintain a high-level relational network (CxO, DG, DSI, COO).
- →Represent SBS Software at events and conferences in the region.
- →Provide rigorous reporting (Salesforce) and achieve set pipeline and closing targets.
- →Ensure active competitive intelligence and relay market signals to internal teams.
