About the Role
We are looking for a Test Automation Engineer to join our team at Sopra Steria. This role focuses on developing, maintaining, and optimizing automated tests for complex solutions across our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- βUnderstand client requirements for solutions
- βEstablish test repository for clients
- βSelect test cases that provide value to automate
- βAutomate using client-selected tools
- βSet up and adjust the test automation platform
- βRun and refactor test suites
- βEnsure reporting on status
Requirements
- βExperience with test automation tools such as Leapwork, Tosca, selenium, playwright, or Katalon
- βAbility to write code for advanced validations - e.g., dynamic row counting in tables and handling imported data
- βSolid understanding of HTML and the ability to write robust, relative XPaths
- βExperience with API and middleware testing
- βKnowledge of Git or similar tools
- βExperience with building and maintaining a scalable directory structure across multiple applications
- βAbility to diagnose complex errors and collaborate with stakeholders
- βExperience with Jira integration
- βUnderstanding of how automated regression tests fit into a deployment pipeline
- βAbility to document technical choices, processes, and best practices
- βFluent Danish speaking and writing skills
