About the Role
We are looking for a Critical Infrastructure Manager to join the Starlink team at SpaceX. This role involves leading a team of technicians and engineers to maintain and improve the facilities infrastructure that supports Starlink operations worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
- →Lead a highly skilled technician and engineering team in executing preventative and corrective maintenance, spare part control, and general troubleshooting of plant utilities
- →Drive organizational excellence through the creation of standardized KPI metrics and ensure accountability at all levels
- →Oversee the development and implementation of advanced maintenance methodologies to improve equipment uptime, efficiency, and cost control
- →Build and lead high-performing cross-functional teams, providing clear vision, mentorship, and strategic guidance
- →Manage various facilities projects and maintenance vendors for a World Class Facility
- →Manage work ticketing system to ensure correct staff and timely responses to break/fix requests
- →Manage third-party service providers to ensure services meet SpaceX standards
- →Partner with construction team to develop, plan and execute site improvement projects
Requirements
- ✓Bachelor’s degree in architecture, construction, or engineering discipline OR 5+ years of professional experience in construction or facilities engineering and management
- ✓2+ years of experience directly managing and leading teams
- ✓Must be able to work all shifts, including extended hours and weekends
- ✓Provide 24/7 on-call support for critical activities and emergency situations
- ✓Ability to lift up to 25lbs, unassisted
- ✓Willing to travel to other SpaceX sites as needed
- ✓Valid driver's license
- ✓Must be willing to work onsite, remote work not considered
- ✓U.S. citizenship or eligible status as per ITAR requirements
