About the Role
The Financial Analyst will play a key role in the development, tracking, forecasting, analysis, and reporting of SpaceX’s Starshield capabilities. This is a critical financial planning and analysis (FP&A) role responsible for providing executive-level visibility of key revenue and spending trends.
Key Responsibilities
- →Lead forecast of key performance indicators (KPIs) for government satellite business groups
- →Develop and enhance tools to track contract performance and project costs
- →Provide insights on revenue, spending variances, and department-level reporting
- →Support proposal and business development activities
- →Coordinate capital expenditure tracking and cash forecasting
- →Conduct ad-hoc analyses to support operational decision-making
- →Perform a leading role on internal projects, translating business issues into financial models
- →Analyze and interpret financial data for management reviews
Requirements
- ✓Bachelor’s degree
- ✓2+ years of professional experience in accounting, finance operations, business, or economics
- ✓Willingness to obtain and maintain a Top Secret Security Clearance
- ✓Based in Hawthorne, CA, with full-time onsite requirement
