About the Role
We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our Starlink Growth team at SpaceX. This role involves working with external customers and internal partners to develop software solutions that support Starlink's customer success and business operations.
Key Responsibilities
- →Design, develop, and continuously improve software solutions to support Starlink customer success and business operations
- →Develop well-architected, responsive, and performant web applications
- →Develop highly reliable and available software systems for Starlink
- →Design and implement highly available, fault-tolerant networks that operate for long periods of time with minimal maintenance at scale
- →Deliver expert level Typescript, HTML, and CSS code for modern browsers
- →Craft aesthetically and functionally flawless user experiences
- →Collaborate with peers on architecture, design, and code reviews
- →Deep dive into your users’ problems to find and create efficient solutions
Requirements
- ✓Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a STEM discipline; OR 5+ years of professional experience building full-stack software in lieu of a degree
- ✓2+ years of professional experience in software engineering
- ✓Must be willing to work extended hours and weekends as needed
- ✓Must be able to travel to other SpaceX facilities as needed
- ✓Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. lawful permanent resident, Refugee, or Asylee, or be eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
