About the Role
We are looking for a Software Engineer, Test & Automation to join the Starlink Mobile team at SpaceX. This role focuses on developing and maintaining test infrastructure for the Starlink Mobile network, which provides global connectivity through satellite technology.
Key Responsibilities
- →Develop modular test software frameworks and integrate satellite hardware and test equipment for the development and verification of cellular software
- →Maintain and troubleshoot automation lab infrastructure and work with partner teams to resolve failures
- →Build tools and dashboards to provide insight into testbed and production network performance
- →Collaborate with developers on new 4G and 5G cellular features and create automated tests to verify functionality and performance
Requirements
- ✓Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, math, or STEM discipline; OR 4+ years of professional experience in software development in lieu of a degree
- ✓Experience with Linux
- ✓Experience in Python
- ✓Experience with VCS (Git)
- ✓Willing to work extended hours and weekends when needed
