About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our Starlink Growth team at SpaceX. This role involves developing software solutions to support Starlink customer success and business operations, focusing on high-performance web applications for aviation, maritime, and enterprise environments.
Key Responsibilities
- →Design, develop, and continuously improve software solutions to support Starlink customer success and business operations
- →Develop well-architected, responsive, and performant web applications
- →Develop highly reliable and available software systems for Starlink
- →Design and implement highly available, fault-tolerant networks that operate for long periods of time with minimal maintenance at scale
- →Deliver expert level Typescript, HTML, and CSS code for modern browsers
- →Craft aesthetically and functionally flawless user experiences
- →Collaborate with peers on architecture, design, and code reviews
- →Deep dive into your users’ problems to find and create efficient solutions
Requirements
- ✓Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a STEM discipline; OR 5+ years of professional experience building full-stack software in lieu of a degree
- ✓5+ years of professional experience in software engineering
- ✓Must be willing to work extended hours and weekends as needed
- ✓Must be able to travel to other SpaceX facilities as needed
- ✓ITAR requirements: U.S. citizen or national, U.S. lawful permanent resident, Refugee, or Asylee, or eligible to obtain required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
