Who are we hiring?
Sphere is looking for a production-savvy, fiscally minded and analytical operational leader with an entrepreneurial spirit to join our Sphere Studios team. The Associate Studio Operations Manager will directly support the SVP Studio Operations with driving Production, Creative & Design and operational initiatives within the Sphere Studios organization. This role is responsible for coordinating and optimizing production and interdepartmental processes, from creative concept through to final delivery. This role is pivotal in shaping the Studioβs direction, managing high-impact projects, and ensuring that key initiatives align with organizational goals and demands.
What will you do?
β’ Partner with the Studioβs Production, Creative and Finance teams to develop and track production and departmental budgets for Experiences, Residencies, Events and Exosphere.
β’ Partner with Sphere Business Operations on development of strategic plans/playbooks, optimization of processes, and resource planning.
β’ Drive operational efficiency by supporting the implementation of operational creative and production management processes to reduce friction points within the Studio.
β’ Streamline interdepartmental Studio production reporting mechanisms to ensure transparent and accurate project tracking, guaranteeing deliverables and deadlines are achieved.
β’ Develop feedback mechanisms between Studios departments to ensure seamless communication, coordinate workflows, and resolve issues promptly and align production efforts with project goals.
β’ Coordinate key Production Management tasks in support of developing production plans, tools, templates, models, logistics and manuals.
β’ Support special projects and strategic content initiatives within the Studio as needed.
What do you need to succeed?
β’ 3-5 years of experience in media production/operations and effectively collaborating across departments at all levels of an organization.
β’ Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to implement efficient processes.
β’ Strong analytical and data analysis skills, including proficiency in Excel (e.g., data manipulation, building reports). AI literacy required and some modeling skills preferred.
β’ Excellent written and verbal communications and relationship skills and an ability to maintain a positive work culture. Excellent organizational and communication skills (written and verbal).
β’ Exceptional presentation skills with keen attention to detail, including proficiency in PowerPoint.
β’ Ability to partner cross-functionally, maintain a positive work culture and effectively navigate a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
β’ Demonstrate a βno egoβ resilient, eager, and professional approach to challenge and desire to advance in the organization.
β’ Ability to work at the highest strategic level and in a granular capacity, bringing analytic problem solving to the table along with the deep collaboration skills needed to work in a matrix environment.
