About the Role
We are looking for a passionate Senior Software Engineer to join our Sports Media Team at Sportradar, the world’s leading sports technology company. This role focuses on building cloud-native solutions and working with cross-functional teams to deliver sports data and content platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- →Design, build, test, and deploy cloud-native solutions used by Enterprise Customers, supporting billions of calls per month
- →Work on cross-functional teams with Product, Engineering, Design and DevOps
- →Partner with architecture and external development teams to design highly aligned services
- →Advocate and optimize applications for maximum speed, scale, security, and maintainability
- →Participate in Pull/Merge Request reviews to ensure high quality
- →Mentor and work closely with less experienced Engineers
- →Foster a strong culture of collaboration and best practices
Requirements
- ✓6+ years of experience in professional software development
- ✓Experience with data-driven architecture and systems design (RESTful APIs, microservices, GraphQL)
- ✓Experience with scalable, maintainable, reliable production software
- ✓Proficiency utilizing SQL, NoSQL, In-memory stores at scale
- ✓Demonstrated understanding of software design principles (SOLID)
- ✓Experience with Software as a Service (SaaS)
- ✓Experience working in CI/CD model with GitLab/GitHub
- ✓Proven success working in Agile environments
