ABOUT US:
Production Engineering spans several teams across Trondheim, Leipzig, Ljubljana and Warsaw. We build the technical foundations for Sportradar’s marketplace, helping teams deliver faster and run systems reliably.
The teams we are hiring for are based in our Trondheim office, working closely with local colleagues while still collaborating with our broader international unit.
We focus on practical improvements and learning. Recent examples include AWS certification study groups, Terraform workshops, and experiments with AI to explore new ideas. Engineers take ownership and build solutions that scale.
We keep the team connected through open communication, social activities, and close collaboration between engineering and product. Our goal is better delivery and operations.

THE CHALLENGE:
The In Game Tool (IGT) is a critical platform at Sportradar, used by Sportradar Operations to administrate live matches. It facilitates the real-time capture, processing, and validation of sports event data for a wide range of downstream products.
Your responsibilities will be to:
• Establish and uphold rigorous standards for the reliability of internal system, stability of data schemas within the IGT ecosystem, and comprehensive error handling, contributing to service level agreements (SLAs) and operational excellence in real-time data capture.
• Monitor the In Game Tool's production performance, proactively identifying and troubleshooting issues, and leading rapid remediation efforts to maintain continuous live coverage.
• Influence the architectural design, implementation patterns, and best practices for the In Game Tool and its integration points with other Sportradar systems, optimizing for scalability and real-time efficiency.
• Provide technical insights and recommendations that inform the prioritization of new features and enhancements for the In Game Tool, shaping its product roadmap to meet the evolving needs of internal stakeholders and external data consumers.
