About the Role
We are looking for a Fullstack Engineer to join the Customer Service Platform (CSP) team at Spotify. This team is at the forefront of Customer-Service Metamorphosis, a major transformation dedicated to preparing Spotify for an agentic AI future. Our mission is to ensure that AI enhances 100% of support interactions, from smarter self-service and proactive insights to sophisticated bot conversations and augmented tools for our human advisors.
Key Responsibilities
- →Architect, develop, and operate services that form the core of the Customer services platform landscape.
- →Collaborate with cross-functional working groups to design and implement a standardized data model and unified API structure, enabling agentic AI to reason about a user’s full context and history across all support surfaces.
- →Develop the technical integration of vendor offerings, building the necessary abstractions to maintain control, interoperability, and long-term flexibility.
- →Engineer a robust, custom-built Trust and Safety layer to provide technological guardrails for generative AI, proactively preventing harms related to data privacy, payment fraud, and brand reputation.
Requirements
- ✓Strong experience with React and modern JavaScript/TypeScript
- ✓Hands-on experience with Next.js (SSR/SSG, routing, data fetching patterns)
- ✓Experience building production web applications (performance, accessibility, security, observability)
- ✓Familiarity with testing web applications (e.g. Jest, React Testing Library, component/integration tests)
- ✓Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and responsive design
- ✓Comfortable with Java or Python
