iOS Engineer - Advertising at spotify

Our mission on the Advertising Product & Technology team is to build a next generation advertising platform that aligns with our unique value proposition for audio and video. We work to scale the user experience for hundreds of millions of fans and hundreds of thousands of advertisers. What You'll Do: • Build and evolve ad experiences that allow millions of listeners to enjoy Spotify for free • Collaborate with engineers across iOS, Android, backend, and web, along with product, design, and data partners to ship impactful features • Write clean, maintainable code that scales across teams and products • Contribute to the technical direction, architecture, and best practices for iOS development within Advertising • Improve app performance, reliability, and user experience across ad surfaces • Help shape reusable components and libraries that support fast, consistent development • Contribute to a collaborative, inclusive, and autonomous team environment Who You Are: • You know how to write clear, idiomatic Swift and build maintainable iOS applications • You are experienced with modern iOS frameworks and development tools • You have a strong understanding of API design and common iOS design patterns • You care about code quality, performance, and delivering polished user experiences • You understand how mobile applications connect with backend systems end-to-end • You have shipped at least one app to the App Store or have a project you can walk us through • You value collaboration and contribute to a positive, inclusive team environment • You have 2+ years of experience building iOS applications Where You'll Be: • We offer you the flexibility to work where you work best! For this role, you can be within the Americas region as long as we have a work location. • This team operates within the Eastern Standard time zone for collaboration.
