About the Role

We are looking for a Data Scientist to join the Music Mission team at Spotify, responsible for music creators and their fan experiences. This role involves building tools and services to enable creation, promotion, expression, and monetization at scale.

Key Responsibilities

→Drive the data science roadmap for music video supply
→Lead analytical projects with high autonomy
→Architect and own success metrics
→Develop data modeling and inference frameworks
→Conduct exploratory analyses to identify engagement drivers
→Collaborate with ML and Engineering teams
→Partner with Licensing, Marketing, and Product teams

Requirements

✓7+ years of experience as a data scientist
✓Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, or related field
✓Proficiency in Python and SQL
✓Strong foundation in experimentation, causal inference, and exploratory data analysis
✓Experience applying machine learning or statistical modeling
✓Cross-functional partnership with senior stakeholders
✓Clear and compelling communication skills
