About the Role
We are looking for a Technical Product Manager to help build and scale Spotify's advertising platform. This role will own the Ads Data Store, the foundational data layer that powers booking data across our advertising business.
Key Responsibilities
- →Define and own the strategy and roadmap for the Ads Data Store
- →Lead the architectural evolution of the Ads Data Store with Engineering
- →Design and govern canonical data models for evolving pricing and packaging
- →Establish system boundaries and data contracts between booking systems
- →Define standards for data quality, lineage, and monitoring
- →Shape scalable access patterns for internal consumers
- →Prioritize platform investments balancing technical sustainability and business impact
- →Act as the single-threaded owner for booking data integrity
Requirements
- ✓5+ years of experience leading technically complex advertising or data platform products
- ✓Strong understanding of modern data architectures and distributed data systems
- ✓Experience defining canonical data models and managing schema evolution
- ✓Ability to design durable foundations that scale with product complexity
- ✓Comfortable operating in ambiguous environments and leading cross-functional initiatives
- ✓Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly
- ✓Experience leveraging AI tools for product discovery and technical reasoning
