You will own the technical direction and people leadership for the team building and evolving our dashboard product.
You will directly manage 5 engineers and an Engineering Manager who leads our 3-person Growth team - giving you a total org of 9 engineers across two teams. This role requires someone who is equal parts technical leader, people manager, and organizational communicator.

- Stakeholder Management & Communication - Partner with Product, Design, and cross-functional stakeholders to align on roadmap priorities and trade offs - Clearly communicate team progress, risks, and technical decisions to lead ership and the broader organization - Translate business goals into actionable engineering plans and ensure the team delivers predictably - Represent the Mer chant Dashboard team in planning cycles, reviews, and cross-team coordination.
- Execution & Organization - Drive planning, prioritization, and delivery across both teams - Maintain high organizational rigor — clear build cycle goals, well-groomed backlogs, and transparent status reporting - Identify and mitigate risks early; remove blockers for the team - Balance technical debt reduction with feature delivery.
