About the Role
SpruceID is seeking Full-Stack Engineers to join our forward-deployed engineering team. You'll work with experienced engineers and government partners to design, build, and deploy digital identity solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- →Collaborate with customer delivery leads, engineers, and UX designers on real-world deployments
- →Build full-stack features for state governments and public sector partners
- →Translate customer requirements into technical solutions and production-ready systems
- →Develop backend services and web applications meeting public sector security standards
- →Contribute to codebases spanning backend, mobile, and browser environments
- →Participate in customer deployments and learn the full software delivery lifecycle
- →Engage with open identity standards and privacy-focused engineering practices
Requirements
- ✓Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
- ✓Foundational experience with backend development in a statically typed language
- ✓Familiarity with modern web frontends like React or TypeScript
- ✓Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and work collaboratively
- ✓Strong communication skills and interest in working with customers
- ✓Appreciation for open-source software, clean code, and thoughtful engineering
- ✓Based in the U.S. and excited to contribute to public sector work
