About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented, technically curious engineer with a software background who is excited about robotics and automation. This role focuses on building and maintaining test automation to ensure Standard Bots products meet the highest standard of quality.
Key Responsibilities
- →Write, maintain and extend automated test suites for Standard Bots’ Software stack
- →Develop and improve test automation frameworks
- →Build internal tooling and scripts to support QA workflows
- →Execute manual and automated regression testing across software releases
- →Collaborate with developers to reproduce, isolate and document defects
- →Review feature specifications and PRs for testability and edge case coverage
- →Contribute to test case design as new features ship
- →Participate in release QA processes, including gated test runs and release candidate validation
Requirements
- ✓1–3 years of software engineering or test automation experience
- ✓Comfortable writing code in Python, TypeScript/JavaScript, Bash or similar languages
- ✓Familiarity with test frameworks (e.g., Playwright, pytest, Jest) and CI/CD concepts
- ✓Experience writing automated tests is strongly preferred
- ✓Proficiency with Git and collaborative development workflows
- ✓Ability to write utility scripts for data processing, log analysis, or workflow automation
- ✓Comfortable working in Linux/CLI environments
- ✓Self-driven, optimistic, creative, and resourceful
